Ka Huna Massage

Ka Huna Massage is unique in a number of respects. The practitioner uses their hands, forearms and elbows and moves around the table (using flowing Hula and Tai Chi style movements). They work with energy to apply soft and deep tissue massage. Music is played and the practitioner attunes the flow of the massage to harmonise the various rhythms within the client’s body, mind and soul.

Ka Huna Hot Stone Massage

Hawaiian Hot Stone Massage is an ancient art and possibly the ultimate in relaxation massages. The use of hot stones and Hawaiian Ka Huna Lomi Lomi massage techniques help create a state of deep relaxation and mental and emotional harmony.

Hot Stone Massage dates back thousands of years. The application of heat to the body and the relaxing effects this has on muscles and the nervous system has been recognised by numerous ancient civilisations.

Hawaiian Hot Stone massage is one of the most deeply relaxing and blissful treatments in the world, and should not be missed. Stone massage improves the circulation and calms the nervous system. It is recommended for those with stress, anxiety and tension, neck, shoulder and back pain, poor circulation, arthritic pain, insomnia, and depression. Ka Huna Pregnancy or Post-Natal Massage

Using the unique KaHuna massage techniques and movements, pregnancy and post-natal massages are ideal for this special time in your life. KaHuna pregnancy massage is a holistic approach to bond and prepare mother and child for birth.  It soothes common aches and pains of pregnancy and helps to ease the tension in your muscles as your body adjusts to your changing form. The massage table has a facility that allows a pregnant woman to lie comfortably face down during her massage. The sweeping strokes of Ka Huna massage will generate an overall sense of well-being, vitality and empowerment in the expectant mum.

KaHuna post-natal massage helps your body, mind and soul to recover from the strain both pregnancy and labour can place on it.  This can be an emotionally and physically demanding time, allow yourself time to relax and be pampered while specialised massage techniques work to reduce muscular aches and pains. The Hula and Tai Chi movements will sooth your back, neck and shoulders as well as any areas of concern to new mums.
